Tapis Damia

It is absolutely beautiful love the rich colors in this rug. Does shed so I’m hoping continuous vacuuming will help.

I grew up in the oriental/Persian carpet business, so I am reluctant to purchase new area rugs. However, I needed a sturdy rug for a guest bedroom, and the colors in this rug fit the scheme. It was well packaged for shipping, and I am very happy with the quality of the rug itself. The photos are accurate. I'm also happy this is a wool carpet, not a polyester something-or-other. I expect to be purchasing more.

Great quality, looks good. I typically buy wool and, yes, it sheds (buy synthetic if you don’t like some shedding). This rug has had minimal shedding but there is a strange “wooly” smell when the weather is humid. I have wool area rugs throughout the house including some by this same brand. These are the only 2 that have that smell.

It is a gorgeous rug. Just as pictured. It does shed a lot. I’ve been vacuuming it a lot, which seems to help with the shedding.
