Even though this rug is not what I expected, the design is beautiful, and adds a nice touch to my room. However, I was surprised by the color. I was expecting something more neutral. Rather than it being gold, it is more yellow. While it has grown on me, it wasn't what I had pictured from the description. The rug itself is quite thin. Which might be a pro or con depending on your needs.

This runner has been a perfect addition to my kitchen! It fits the space beautifully and adds just the right amount of color and texture. It’s comfortable underfoot, easy to clean, and doesn’t slide around much but does move a little. It’s held up really well to daily use and cooking traffic.

I ordered the runner size of this rug for my front entryway. It lays nice and flat and the door clears it no problem. The backing is very good and keeps the rug from slipping, although with my crazy dogs, I think I will still need to tack it down a bit. The photo on the left is with my amber edison bulb lighting and the one on the right is with natural light. Either way, the colors are definitely in the yellow gold family and not as rosy pinkish as it looks online. The rug seems like it will not show a lot of wear and dirt because of the pattern and the colors.

The Herkimer Gold Vintage Indoor Rug is the perfect rug for a sitting or family room. It came nicely packaged so it was protected from the weather and has a nice rubber backing to prevent the rug from moving too easily. The design is nice and will match most rooms.
