[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no backing on this rug at all. It slides everywhere. I even have corner pieces holding it down. It stretches a LOT. Never seems to be even. It’s under my dining table. Not much traffic, but still messes up everyday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is soft which is a positive for one made from mostly jute. But it doesn’t stay put on the floor and loses its shape. Also, if you have a cat, when the cat scratches it, the rug is pulled up from the floor leaving little bumps and threads. I’ve only had it a week and am thinking this was a big mistake.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this rug on sale and with an additional coupon. I gave it two stars because the color was as expected and the rug was affordable. I intentionally did not purchase a more expensive natural fiber rug as it was my intention to layer another oriental rug over top, but was hoping it would be a good base layer and safely protect most of the hardwood floor around the oriental rug. The rug is very thin and flimsy. The edges curl up and do not lie flat. I used a rug pad, but the three or so inches on the edge that does not lie on the pad slips on the floor. Additionally, the edge of the rug snagged within hours of unrolling it in my living room. I am very disappointed with my purchase and would not recommend anyone else buy this rug, unless the intent is to use it as a mat in a basement — and then, I would caution to be sure to use a rug pad!

This rug is prefect for our living room, but it is not as substantial as we expected it to be. We got the 9x12, and it could actually be folded up easily to store until we were ready to put it down. For the price, it's a great neutral floor covering, but nothing special.
