Beautiful rug and is as pictured. Initial wool shedding but subsided after a month or two. ONE thing to keep in mind is that if a string is pulled, it will keep pulling a hole into the carpet. We had a mishap with pets and 'spiraled' out of control. OTHERWISE this is a fantastic rug.
