Tapis gris clair / bourgogne June

The pros of this rug is that it’s soft underfoot and its machine washable. I hadn’t realized this when I ordered it so that’s a bonus. The cons are that the colors really don’t look like the image in the listing. It’s much more grey than blue though there is some blue. The other thing is that it is extremely thin and though it is soft it also had zero padding, so if you want it to feel like a rug and not a piece of fabric on the floor you’ll need a pad underneath.

Please excuse the junk in back of the photo we’re just moving into our new home and this rug was one of our first purchases. I have the 9’x12’ version and it’s absolutely perfect in our large tiled rec room. The weaving is finely done and it feels soft but quite durable. I expect the rug to perform well with our active family and pets. The pattern is muted enough to blend with a variety of styles, but partnered with my blue loveseat and accessories, the blue adds a nice accent to the room.

This area rug is a little thinner than I thought. It shipped and came right away. The colors seem to be true to the photo. It feels very soft, and I am happy I sized up from what I currently have. Padding is probably a good idea. I will update when it is put down at the end of the month when the new sofa arrives.

I’m giving this 3 stars as I feel that the pictures online aren’t very accurate. This rug is pretty, but it’s more gray than blue. It’s also very thin, and the material doesn’t look plush like it does in the advertised photos. The backing seems to provide some anti slip though.

As you can see from my pictures, the colors are not the same as what the picture shown is. I was expecting it to be much more blue and the rug actually has much more gray in it. The rug is nice quality but definitely needs a pad underneath since it is thin. It should be easy to clean and I think will hold up well in a high traffic area
