This Contessa Oriental Light Gray Area Rug is very beautiful and elegant. It looks like an expensive Persian rug. The pictures don’t show the design very well because they look very soft and muted. When I was ordering it I saw that they made it that way on purpose. They made it with what is called purposeful distressing. They want it to have a worn/faded look. So it is a softer look in the pictures I’ve posted. I really like it the way they look. I was kind of worried that a design that elaborate, might be too busy looking. The design and color palette is perfect! It is warm and cozy, yet sleek and modern with a touch of rich historical style. I chose a 5 x 7 to put in my entryway and an 8 x 10 to compliment it in my family room. I have gotten so many compliments on them. They are unique from the normal boring patterns. These rugs would also be good to put parallel to the wall in the bedroom with the bed on top and you could see it at the end of the bed and on the sides. I can think of many places to put this very pretty rug. The rug is soft and plush. But not so thick that it will matt down. The rug is made of Polyester; Polypropylene which is a sturdy material that will wear well. I love the rugs and I would recommend them to anyone.

Beautiful rug!! I’m very pleased with this purchase! The fibers are silky and soft and it has a beautiful sheen that almost gives it a different look depending on how the light hits it. The colors match my neutral decor perfectly!

This rug was shipped well, rolled with covers on the ends, so it unfurled beautifully with no issue. I put some weights down at the tight end only for an hour or two to flatten out. The colour is a wonderful cold grey blue but not dull it still brightens up the room. The pattern changes across almost diagonally, so its dark on one corner and almost white faded on the other. It gives a nice romantic touch to the room. I got this to try to separate the open layout of my living and dining spaces. It does this perfectly. Very satisfied.
