Purchased as a gift for my daughter and she loves it. Says it's very soft.

Pile is lower than it looks in the photos and the lighter backing shows through in little marks when you walk in it (marks disappear when you vacuum it). It still looks very good and unique, and the size and quality are great for the price.

Ugh... I hate to write a horrible review... but I do NOT recommend that anyone order this "rug"! It is truly not a rug. It's more like a beach towel (a huge, 6' x 9' beach towel!!). It is not a woven rug with a nice bound edge, as shown in the photos. It is a screen printed, velvety piece of fabric. SO DISAPPOINTED! I knew something was terribly wrong when this huge "rug" arrived folded up in a small bag, instead of rolled up like a true rug should be. Do not order this rug. I feel like I was scammed!

Goes great with my furniture and is super easy to move .
