The rug itself is lovely. However, if you are a household with a dog, be aware that their claws will pull up loops in the braids. I have a 10-year old terrier mix (a.k.a. not a hyper, young dog) and he's created many loops in the couple of months we've had the rug.

I'm happy with the size and the braided rug look. I wish it was as colorful as the photos, showing more aqua, orange, etc. Mine is more drab and doesn't enhance my aqua couch as I had hoped.
