This rug is stunning and the colors are perfect for my needs. The black is more of a charcoal and the medallions can read grey-blue, sage, or straight grey depending on what you want to pull out with other colors in the room. I’m accessorizing with sage and it’s perfect. The gold in the rug works well with my champagne bronze hardware. And there’s also a prominent red brown that I think will look great with wood accessories. Overall, in my lighting, I think the rug reads charcoal with strong grey and brown tones. The sage medallions are a bonus color. The only thing I did wrong was buy the rug pad from Wayfair because it’s the same size as the rug, maybe a bit bigger. Now I have to trim it down. I wish I’d bought from a custom rug pad site. First world problems lol. Love the rug though. It is beautifully made and gorgeous!
