This rug is perfect! (And I am very picky about rugs). Very good quality. Thick, tight wool weave. I hunted forever for a true red rug, which is hard to find these days, and this is it. It is a true deep red, (not burgundy or rust, etc). Based on the website photos, I was a bit concerned it would be too bright, but it’s not. It’s the perfect balance of sophisticated, saturated jewel tones. On the website the blue looks like a bright cobalt that I thought might overwhelm the other colors, but in actuality it is navy, so more subdued, which is what I was looking for. The yellow is a soft mustard gold. And there is more green in this rug than I thought there would be - the vines are a green teal color. Some of the smaller leaves are also olive green and tobacco brown.
We have an open concept livingdining room and I wanted a rug that would compliment the blue Porterfield rug, which I love, and which I also purchased from Wayfair. It is hard to match rugs with patterns, and in my opinion these two rugs compliment each other from across the room very nicely since they both have the same thickness, weave, and jewel tones.
