Tapis oriental noir Mannheim

I'm very torn with this rug. The design is beautiful and it's very soft, but not what I expected. First, the fibers themselves are much thinner than I thought they'd be. second, I believe the design was printed onto the rug, like a sublimated t shirt, as opposed to colored fibers being weaved into the rug. Because of both of those issues, it leaves the rug looking cheaply made on close inspection. It also causes the rug to look dark rubbed on the grain, and shiny when rubbed against. Overall, a pretty rug, but not worth the money I spent.

Absolutely terrible quality. Not worth 100 let alone this price. Cheap fibers. Looks like it’s printed onto the fiber.
