This rug is a bit bluer than shown. Not very soft but feels good. Excellent for a kids room. Smells a bit rubbery for the first week but after a few vacuums the smell's gone.

First of all, adults have a great time recognizing the historical landmarks and it's turned into a conversation piece every time we have people over. The best part of it, though, is how much fun we have with our son on this rug. Together, we have visited every part of the world. He's only two, so he's been repeating the names of places as we travel to them, but we have a feeling that he's going to have a great time learning about the historical landmarks as he gets older too!!
