It is silver and black - not beige. It is beautiful though.

In the photos the rug's lighter tones are a warm, cream color. In reality, the lighter tones are white/silver, in the cool color range. The pattern is attractive enough underfoot, but it is not actually in crisp detail as the photos suggest. I would call the pattern blurred or muddied.

The appearance, price and quality are all good. My only reason for not offering up a 5 star rating is that the rug is a bit thin/ low profile. For the price, however, it's a perfect rug - soft texture, great style, lots of muted and gradient coloring. One thing to note is that the weave of the rug flows in one direction and should you "ruffle" the fibers and "go against the grain", it gives it a bit of a different color, pattern. Since the rug pattern is mottled and has gradient colors, it's not very noticeable unless you have a very very keen eye!
