I purchased this rubber mat to use as a floor for my recently purchased little metal shed. The shed was standing on a brick driveway, so I wanted something that would keep items up off what may be a wet surface at times. This mat is perfect. It fits under the shed and is about an inch thick so provides great protection. It was not cheap, but it certainly is exactly what I wanted for my purpose. I am very happy with it.

This mat comes in a decent size to cover most of the exterior threshold and it has holes in it so that it doesn't become sodden when it rains. It does need a couple of days to flatten out and lose the rubber-smell but otherwise I'm quite pleased with it.

Works good for the back porch. Side note: walking on this in bare foot (when the kids come in from the pool) can be a bit painful!
