This rug can stand up to a couple dozen kids and moms doing homeschooling activities every week. The kids lay directly on it since it isn’t scratchy. For the first month, I vacuumed it every day. Wool sheds a lot at first. Now I vacuum it once or twice a week. I’ve also been able to brush out mud, chocolate, and other stains with no problems. Wool rugs are so stain resistant! My only complaint about the rug is that it is darker than it seemed in the product photos. I might have gone with something a touch lighter if I had known.

Really beautiful rug! Thick and very soft wool. I was happy to see the gold colors were a bit more muted than my computer showed.

Only complaint is you can see every particle of dust or debris. Must be vacuumed daily. Continues to shed after months.
