This review is for the Trentin Indoor Outdoor Rug by Charlton Home, which I purchased from Wayfair in November 2023 for my outdoor South facing patio. At first, I thought the price was reasonable and the color combination—blue and white—looked fresh and cheerful on the patio. It held up visually for a while, and from a distance it still looks decent. But over time, the material started to break down in a way that became really frustrating. The issue is the plastic fibers. They don’t shred dramatically, but they flake off in tiny pieces—little specks that end up everywhere. On the deck, under the furniture, in the plants, and yes, even stuck to the bottom of your feet. No matter how often you sweep, those flecks keep coming back. I found myself needing a leaf blower just to clear the debris out from under chairs and cushions. The rug hasn’t completely fallen apart, but it definitely hasn’t aged well. The colors are still technically there, but they’re not as vibrant as they were in the beginning, and the constant shedding makes it feel worn before its time. Looking back, I wish I had chosen a different material. If you’re shopping for an outdoor rug, I would strongly recommend doing your homework and considering natural fibers like jute or seagrass, which tend to wear more gracefully outdoors. And personally, I’d skip anything that feels overly plastic or artificial. This rug served its purpose for a while, but I wouldn’t buy it again. Just my two cents. In

Love the way the color pops with my rooftop furniture! Even the pup enjoys it !

The price was right to buy 4 to line the floor of our greenhouse. They can be sprayed off when the dirt spills, or swept for smaller spills. No need to worry about water like on other indoor/outdoor rugs. We love them and they add a beautiful splash of color!
