The quality of the material and design - I would give 5 stars. However, the cut of the rug is poor. The pattern should be straight, instead it veers off so that from the side, the houndstooth curves into an odd wavey pattern. I tried contacting Wayfair about this as well, to see if my rug was simply defective, but I've received no response.

First rug came with mildew, but was promptly replaced. This is why I love this shopping site.

I absolutely loved this rug when I first bought it-we have had it in our entertaining room for about 2 years and it looked amazing. However, this past year I noticed that the rubber backing started to rub off and some weird red splotches started to show up white areas on the rug. I thought at first someone spilled something on it since it was just in one corner but the "stain" wouldn't come out and over time I saw that it was happening throughout the rug; I am assuming this is from the backing coming off which is a huge bummer!
