This review pertains to the runner though I presume the area rugs are of the same construction. The one star is the lowest possible score otherwise it would be a big fat zero. Why? Because this is not a rug. The ivory portion is not a rug it is rug backing and the colored portions are clumps of wool - this is not a rug. It is not anything like what is pictured. Pros: very lightweight as you would expect rug backing to be. Cons: not a rug

Very fanciful, but delightful. It's a runner that reminds me of wall hangings made years ago. The pale sections are not filled with wool. It is very easy to keep clean.
