Rug was not as durable as was advertised. Yes, it makes a statement, but it will not wear well.

I can't believe I paid that much for this rug. The white part of the shag sheds and has lost its texture within a few days of normal use and has turned to fuzz. The black part is not a shag but a very low pile carpet so it looks like there is something black hiding under the white shag. Gross. The picture looks nothing like the real thing. I'm sending it back. Sorry, I hate to complain but it looks so good in the picture! To me, it is very misleading.
