The color is beautiful! It is exactly what the picture showed. I should have been more diligent in reading the description - the rug is not a tight weave; it is more "shaggy" than a tight weaver. Because this rug is going in my living room with a higher traffic pattern, I wanted a tighter weave which shows less wear. It will be interesting how this rug holds up.
