They look good.There was actually 15 pieces in box. I will use two sided carpet tape along leading edge to keep from slipping.

I recently bought a new home with wood stairs that my dog refused to use, so the search began for the perfect stair treads. These low-profile stair treads fit the bill, as they are classy and tie in well with my decor. Double-sided tape is needed to keep them in place. I plan to purchase a second set for my basement stairs.

Heavy duty indeed. Don’t breakdown easily and stay stuck to the stairs. Attract pet hair really easily and hard to get out, so if you have a pet you may find them looking dirty alit and hard to clean

They do not stay in place on wooden floors. They may be "pet nail friendly" but they attract pet fur and dirt and are near impossible to clean because the hair gets so stuck in the fiber the vacuum barely picks up. I have a heavy duty vacuum so I have to try to hold each individual piece in place as I painstakingly go over each one again and again.
