Pile is very thin.

Didn't like it. Looks cheap, arrived dirty. Sending it back, unfortunately will be at my expense.

Awesome rug for the spare bedroom.

Its a more crisp, whiter shade than I was expecting based on the product photo and description as taupe. It is beautiful and soft, though I expected a little more of a warm color. It is rolled up very tightly so I have heavy objects holding the ends down to hopefully flatten it out. Dont read into the sort of horizontal lighting changes in the photo, its just my banister casting shadows.

Absolutely love this rug. I’ve been searching for a very long time for a neutral off-white rug that is not a shag rug. I need something low pile so that my rolling office chair can glide smoothly. The subtle pattern adds elegance to the room as well.
