The rug is adorable, but the smell is just not worth it. The instructions say to leave it outside to air out to get the smell out, and that didn't even put a dent in it. I saw it was washable so I ran it through the wash and that also didn't help at all. After stripping it in the tub for over 24 hours I finally got the smell out. But you definitely cannot buy this rug and put it right in a nursery, it takes a lot of work.

Came well packaged and looks really nice - happy kids, happy mom!

Super cute! Only complaint is that it fades quickly and the blue fibers get everywhere if there’s heavy traffic.
