I have a different rug by the same company and of the same type of material and I really love the look of it. This is not a typical plushie rug with the sort of rubbery backing. These rugs are thicker and they're made out of a more, I don't know, natural feeling material. I like the look of these but they aren't a traditional rug I would say. But when I needed this one, I went specifically to the brand based on the one I bought before and having liked it so much. A couple of use notes, you definitely need a non-slip rug pad for these because they are not backed that way, and I would aim on the side of a thin rug pad because the rugs themselves are already thick. My other note would be they are a little thick on the edges so if there's any at all concern about tripping or something, this may possibly not be the right rug for you. That being said I really like these rugs and if I ever need a rug again, this type is where I would start shopping.
