Better than what I expected! This thin pile washable rug has a very contemporary look to it, and the pattern is abstract enough that it could go with almost any decor. The colors in it are as follows, it has a cream/ivory background field, with some lighter and darker grays, light tans, and some caramel browns in it with a few speckles of a slightly darker brown, but they are not real noticeable. The pattern of the rug is such that it looks different from one side to the other, which is kind of nice cause it doesn’t have that repeat pattern to it. The back of the rug has a nonslip coating on it so you probably don’t even need a rug pad with this. It barely took any time for the rug to flatten out and the wrinkles to go out of it, as it arrives folded up. You could literally lay it down and have a dinner party the same night and you won’t see any creases in it. I wasn’t sure initially if I was going to like this but honestly, I think it’s really a beautiful rug. I especially love the scalloped edges. It is so cute and that’s really different! The pattern is something that could go in almost any household. My photos, unfortunately do not show it with furniture on it because I was waiting for my husband to come home and help me move the dining room table back onto the rug. The colors blend together so that to the eye it makes a very nice mix. It has kind of a neutral feel to it just because there’s no specific pattern to it. This one’s definitely a keeper and I highly recommend it. The fact that it is washable and repels liquids is a bonus!
