Elena Para Ivory Hand Knotted Silk Rug, Country of Origin: India. This exquisite piece showcases the refined artistry characteristic of contemporary Indian rugs . Hand-knotted from luxurious natural silk, the pile exhibits a subtle sheen and exceptional softness, elevating the classic design to a new level of tactile luxury. The palette is masterfully restrained, utilizing a soft, washed aesthetic that suggests age and patina. The primary field colour is a luminous, pale ivory beige cream , providing a serene foundation for the delicate secondary colours. These accents—muted teal, pale rose, and soft gold—are sparingly applied, ensuring the rug remains light and airy, ideal for contemporary interiors seeking quiet sophistication. Featuring a classic all-over medallion-less pattern, the design incorporates stylized palmettes and meandering vines within a structured frame. The generous scale of the piece qualifies it as one of our premier room size rugs , capable of anchoring a formal living space or grand dining area with its expansive, detailed surface. The deliberate distressing technique softens the motifs, lending an antique character to this modern production. The Elena Para collection represents the finest intersection of traditional weaving skill and modern design sensibility, creating pieces that are both timeless and relevant.
