[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lovely living room rug. It is only about a quarter of an inch thick, but feels sturdy and well made. The backing on it does slightly slip on our hardwood floors as there is no furniture sitting on top of it at the moment and we do not have a rug gripping mat undemeath it. I am planning on putting it underneath a digital piano to keep feet warm and protect the hardwood from scratches. I feel it will do a great job that without making the piano and bench off balance. It would be an awesome rug for anywhere that needs floor protection or hardwood insulation like I do. It does look slightly different than the online photo. As you can see from the videos, the color deepens or gets lighter when it is smoothed over from side to side being the small lines in the rug change color from right to left, not the rows up and down as I anticipated. Depending on your foot traffic, this may or may not be an issue, but for our area it’s a perfect fit.
