I've had the rug for 1 year now. It was recommended to me by my Modsy designer for an indoor space since I have dogs and wanted something easy to keep clean.
PROS:
- Colors were true to picture
- The pattern was graphic and bright without being overpowering. It did add a nice visual effect to our space and at first I was pretty happy.
- Stains do come out. My daughter spilled a latte on it in the first month. My Bissell spot cleaner removed it/no stain left behind.
CONS:
- It is very thin (more like a mat/not at all like a carpet).
- It does not stay put without proper furniture placement or rug pad. My pets love to lift it up, hide toys under it, wrinkle it up, and that is all quite easy for them to do.
- It is not holding up to vacuuming over time. My dogs are shiba inus and have a dense undercoat that sheds heavily. I have to vacuum daily to keep a clean house. The rug has an open type weave that really traps/grips the fur. I have some powerful vacuums (Miele and Dyson) that can remove the fur; but the rug is beginning to fuzz up and threads are coming loose from the daily maintenance. See photos/look closely and material wear and tear (One of my furry culprits is paw modeling in the pic). If I use lower suction, the fur won't come out of the rug.
For this reason, I'm purchasing a new rug and I do not recommend this to people who own shedding pets or plan to keep it in an area where it's going to get dirty often.
This seems to be just for looks in a gently/barely used space.
