Color quite grey and not ivory. Rug does not lay flat and looks dirty.

This carpet has a very beautiful beige and silver threads. It's light, but won't show stain because of the thread coloring. It's very shaggy and comfortable. However, when I got up from sitting on it, I had lint all over my pants. Sadly, it's going back. If shedding is an issue for you, hope this will save you $50 in return costs. Beautifully constructed.The pile is thick and nicely pronounced with some silky effect.I would correct description of shade it is more light champagne than ivory.
