Great textured area rug; nice and thick with no off-gassing or weird chemical smells (at least none that I could tell, the cats were very interested in sniffing it for the first day or so). The crosshatch pattern is slightly off-center, but I think it's part of the charm of a handmade rug and I'm sure it varies from unit to unit. Good buy!
