It seems to be well made but I havent tried washing it yet. My major problem with this rug is that it was advertised as gray but definitely appears blue in all different lighting. Im not going to use it as intended but I will keep it.

Thinner than expected and it actually looks a bit like a brick pattern as opposed to modern stripes. Faux hide is a good way to describe the texture. It doesn't weigh much but looks nice enough in the bedroom under the bed.

Quality and color are perfect. Not totally slip proof but great for a low travel area. Silky and elegant appearance.
