[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely a mix of pros and cons here… First the pros: very nice coloring, plush feeling underfoot, and this rug seems very durable and well-made. It fits perfectly in a standard doorway. These rugs are handmade, but the loops seem pretty uniform in terms of pile height. I didn’t get a chance to test cleanability, but it seems like any carpet solvent or cleaner would likely work just fine. Cons: it’s not super obvious in this picture due to the angle and fact that the rug isn’t completely flat, but the diamond pattern is not as pictured by the company. The “diamonds” are loose in shape not like their picture, but if you’re not bothered by that I think the tradeoff is proof that it’s handmade. I was really surprised by how expensive these rugs are at retail price, but it is much thicker than the cheaper rugs. My sample came in an extremely musty package, everything stinks from the box to the plastic wrapping to the rug itself. Not sure where it was stored and shipped from but it’s so bad I don’t think I can keep it. If not for the musty smell, I think I’d overall enjoy this rug.
