Tapis noir Kilim

Ok, just opened the rug and here’s my first impressions: the stock image’s scale must be for the large size, because the 3x5 has a bigger pattern. The color is more “warm dingy oat” than I was hoping for. It’s kind of scratchy, but the cats seem to like the texture. I thought it’d be kinda plush and bright though. There is a slight smell almost like a leather boot store? It’s a reversible woven rug, no bottom no floor grip. I’m going to make this one work, but I’m glad I didn’t go all in and buy this for multiple rooms like I was going to.
