This is literally the softest, most velvety rug I have ever felt. It is not soft like a plush rug but more velvety beneath your feet. My grandson has sensory issues but he kept rolling on it and rubbing his hands on it.

Received area rug of blue and beige. Rug has a nice feel almost velvety. It fits nicely in our spare bedroom. Looks much nicer than the picture as it look black or dark gray in picture. It is actually almost a navy blue. It is a nice accent for any room.
