I ordered this rug in size 9'x12'. Unfortunately, I received a rug that was approximately 8.5 x 12. It was between 5 and 6 inches short from a width standpoint. For a rug that's priced at $569 (on "sale"), that is simply unacceptable. Wayfair is typically very good about this kind of thing, but the customer service I received this time was lacking. They offered a 20% discount on the rug which was insufficient in my opinion. If a rug is advertised as a 9 x 12 customers should receive the same. Plus, a 20% discount isn't going to make up for the frustration and hassle of waiting on, receiving, repackaging and returning an item that is not as described (especially one this large and heavy). This is the third time I've ordered a rug from Wayfair only to receive either the wrong item or something that does not match the description. It's making me think I should just give up on Wayfair and find a brick and mortar retailer for rugs. Also, please note that this rug is much more cream colored than ivory. The grey fibers help blend it/calm the brightness of the cream fibers, but it's still very much cream colored. So not only was it not as described re: size; it was also not as pictured/described re: color. I can't justify paying nearly $500 (which is approximately what it would have cost even after a 20% discount) for a rug that's both the wrong size and color. Buyer beware.
