The color is prettier than it looks on the screen. It is soft but not that plush so we put down a rug pad to help. We had an issue with some of the corner tassels (one was missing and some other corners were frayed) and Wayfair was great about replacing it. My daughter loves it, so that is what matters most since it is in her room.
