I placed it at the entrance to my apartment so all my neighbors can see it. I’ve already started decorating for Halloween, so it fits in perfectly. The material is durable, though I’m not sure if it’s waterproof.

It’s coir and very heavy so I don’t have to worry about it slipping and sliding or blowing away with the wind. It’s a fun way to feel festive for Halloween without being too much. The painting on it is well done and I really like the plaid border. It didn’t have a rubbery smell like some doormats which I appreciate and any loose fibers cleaned right off with a quick shake. I am very pleased with this mat and would buy this brand for other holiday mats.
