Tapis crème area Ferland

Not quite as I had expected but it works in the space as it has grown on me. Its been on the floor for several months now with no signs of wear and tear.

The color of the rug matches the picture exactly. I bought it for the subtle lilac and the light gray in the cream background and it looks great in my grayish lilac painted room. Heavy "new carpet" smell, but it cleared out after just a couple hours of cracking the window open. Soft underneath the feet and no pilling/shedding so far (about 3 weeks). Would recommend!

Buying a rug on line was a scary proposition, but this rug is beautiful. Fairly thick with a smooth and silky feel. The background is cream but has striations throughout. The pattern is a mushroom gray/taupe as well as the background striations or lines. As a result, the rug is very forgiving.
