This is a very attractive mat. I didn't give the 5th star because it really is not absorbent, which I had hoped for.

Although I love this mat for its shallow depth and beachy motif, the background has quite a bit more white and light colors than shown in the picture, which are not the best for a place where people wipe their feet before coming into the house! So I just wash it with a garden hose, as needed.

I was very pleased with this door mat it looks like a painting . The colors match my colors I used for outdoor siding front door and trim.
