Rug color is exactly as pictured. I am currently using it inside house in front of patio sliding door. It worlds perfectly to protect floor when entering house. No pad is needed for rug, as it stays in place. I recommend this item.

Very pretty thick rug, it just wasn’t right for us. I would not recommend using it outdoors, I live in New England and using it on my porch was a bad idea, it soaked up any precipitation and took days to dry out. The other issue was the tufting - it attracted dog hair and debris - it also snagged when the dogs walked on it (their nails caught). It just wasn’t the best choice for my home.

I’m soooo happy with this area rug! The color palette is perfect for my kitchen but I will admit to being concerned when I placed the order because the stock photos make it appear much more vibrant which I didn’t want. The rug is soft under foot, and surprisingly cushiony although not thick. It had been easy to clean without permanent staining - my Irish Wolfhound is in heat and a few blood drops got on the rug soon after I put it down in the kitchen. Solid backing is an added bonus. I highly recommend this quality area rug.
