Color is just as pictured ..a beautiful green. Rug is soft and heavy. It "stretches" just a bit so laying it down took a little tugging and pulling. Used the rug pad (which is needed) to keep it from pulling/stretching any more. Rug pad was a bit larger than rug... easy to cut down with kitchen scissors. Can't wait to now add my holiday decor and it will look even better!
