This rug is exceptional quality and just gorgeous in person. It arrived really quickly and I had it out of the package and on my living room floor within minutes of its arrival. It lays perfectly flat, no curling corners. It is thick tufted wool with a very subtle raised pattern, and it's professionally bound on the reverse. In my photos the pattern looks black, but in person it's a dark charcoal gray. The background is a combination of taupe and cream yarns. I vacuumed it thoroughly and noticed little if any shedding. It doesn't have an offensive smell either. Don't hesitate to purchase this rug if you're considering it. You will not be disappointed. Actual measurements are as stated in the listing, a full 8'x11'.
