The rug is true to the photos. It is pretty and I do like it, however there is just such a strong musty, mildew-y smell to it. I have lightly vacuumed it (no bristle brush) and we aired it out for 3 full days but it still has a smell. It's disappointing because we paid a lot for it (9x12 size). I am still considering whether to return it or not.

This rug is beautiful! The woven texture is a bit coarser than pictured, but the rug is soft and will look great in my library area. I love that it's wool and did not off-gas.
