The rug arrived well packaged. It feels soft under my bare feet. The color is more of an ombre effect rather than a solid color. It varies between almost black charcoal grey to a light charcoal grey. I like the overall look.

It’s a really nice heavy wool rug. It has a bit of a smell (not too bad) and the ends are curled from being rolled for shipping, but due to the weight, I’d expect it will be flat by morning. It’s a pretty neutral charcoal gratuity cross hatches. I think it’d fit good in a modern farmhouse or modern home setting. My dog came in and later down right away on it, so I’m taking that as a good sign. I’m very happy with this rug.
