Great shag rug!

We love it!! Feels good on the feet !! We put an extra pad under it so it made it feel more plush .. it also brightens up our living room.. Much nicer than picture shows

Love this rug... It's so thick and soft...feels totally amazing to walk on. It looks so good in my room... I would totally recommend getting this.

For the quality and price, it is a decent value - it feels priced about right. That said, if you take price out of the picture and just judge the rug on the feeling under your feet, it feels a bit thin. I would normally expect a long pile rug to feel plush/springy under my feet. It doesn't provide much padding so it feels similar to standing on my hardwood floor. If you want a luxe feeling, you will need to pay for a nice thick rug pad. If the rug was thicker by itself, I would have given it 5 stars. I also didn't notice the long tassels on the ends, and if I had been paying more attention, I would have picked a different rug - but that was my bad. See my pictures for closeups of the pile and tassels with my hands in them for scale. Edit: After having this down for a few weeks, it's already losing threads. The pile isn't very firmly attached, and the cat is able to easily pull out threads just by stretching on it.
