The size, the craftsmanship and the sheer softness of this rug makes it a wonderful compliment to my livingroom. The rug was a bit lighter in color than I expected and the hues of color aren't exactly as indicated (the dark reds are more of a deep orange). But the quality and overall comfort make it well worth it. I think it is well worth placing it on a 1/4" or better carpet pad to keep it in place and releive any possible damage underneath it to the rug or floor. The price was a big plus, too, as I might not have considered buying it for the original price. I love the way that it changed the feel of my livingroom. I highly recommend it. UPDATE May 2026: It is a true wool rug, and shedding seemed excessive in the beginning. Finally the rug has settled down. I follow a strict light vacuuming, with a flat floor brush, once a week to keep it refreshed and clean. DO NOT use a beater brush/rotating head to clean this rug!!

Love the color and quality ! It was way nicer than I expected

We are loving our new 14' x 10' Atlanta Oriental area rug. The rug is very plush. The pattern is beautiful and the design subtle, but sophisticated. So happy with our purchase. Delivery was very good also. It was worth the extra charge to have it brought right into our living room. My husband recently had back surgery and I was able to lay the rug out by myself at 74 years old!

Really good quality and an excellent price.

The rug is thick and rich feeling. The colors are perfect. We wanted to repeat the blues we already have in the room., but many of the rugs we have seen with blue are too blue. We just wanted blue accents. This rug is subtle and elegant. We love it!
