I use the mat as my doormat. It looks good, it is non-slip and it is easy to clean. It is, however, thinner than I expected and it is shedding some fabric. All in all easy to maintain and good for the price.

This 30 by 18 inch doormat can be used inside or outside. Ours is placed in front of the garage door where we enter the house most often, with the expectation that it will catch some of the dirt and grass from shoes before entering the house. It is the perfect size for the normal sized door. It is not thick (only ½ inch) so you don’t have to worry about anyone tripping over it. The rubber backing keeps it from slipping, which is convenient whether you use it inside or outside. The mat is woven of coir, which is the prepared fiber of coconut husks, an organic material. The color is a neutral beige tone yellow with black lettering. The word “home” progresses from left to right with the lower-case letters gradually increasing in size, giving the impression the word is coming toward you. It is a simple design with no decorative border giving the mat a contemporary urban look. The price is very reasonable for the quality. It would make an adorable housewarming gift, especially for that person who just purchased their first home, the person who just got their own apartment, or the college student establishing their new residence.
