This is a very nice pad! It is so much better than the waffle open kind! Holds rug in place. Carpet lays flat. Love it!

This printer stand is very sturdy and well designed ❣️ It is helpful to have a second pair of hands for the first few boards. Very important NOT to tighten the screws on the first 4 shelves. Once the back boards are in place then you tighten all the screws. Tighten them as you do lug nuts, a little bit on each side until all are tight. The long screws are for the back boards! Back board have a right side which has no holes. The wrong side has where there are plastic inserts to keep the screws tight. We assembled it laying on the floor. The shelves are very sturdy. Our printer has a big lid so we placed on the top shelf. That might be too high for some. It has nice rollers for hardwood floors. Very pleased with this unit.

We purchased two hall rugs (runners) to reduce wear on newly installed carpet. Before I bought the Althrop rug pads, the runners would bunch up and/or move out of place as we walked on them. I tried a couple of methods to keep the rugs in place (sticky corner patches & carpet tape) but those didn't work. The Althrop Reversible Dual Surface Pad DID work! Once I attached the Althrop pads and got them in place, the hall rugs haven't moved. We are talking about six months of walking up and down the hall several times a day. Those rugs are exactly where I placed them. I've peaked underneath to check on our carpet and it is in perfect condition. Thank you Althrop. I highly recommend this product.
