This rug isn't the tint of color that it shows as in the picture. It's much, much whiter / brighter in shading.

I read a review mentioning that this was actually a very light colored rug compared to the pictures, but was willing to go for it. It really is white (not beige) and the overall impression of the rug is the color white versus the black pattern. It's exaggerated more in the runner shape. I was looking for a darker rug than this, so I'll probably be putting it in a closet instead of my hallway.

The rug is much lighter than I expected. It is more white with black than gray...Otherwise looks great. Hopefully will be as stain resistant as promised.
