Very well made silky hand knotted rug

I have the 5 x 8 version of this rug…it looked good for about 6 months and I should’ve known better but the white was impossible to keep clean. The fibers are incredibly sensitive and when I used folex (a well known carpet cleaning solution) to gently spot clean, the fibers began pulling up and the rug now is ruined and looks ridiculous. For the price I do not think this rug performs as expected.
